Submit a wedding to Bouquet Catch

Just married? We’re always looking for amazing real wedding submissions to inspire Bouquet Catch readers. Check out our real weddings section to see the types weddings we like to feature: weddings by season, destination weddings, religious weddings, humanist weddings, wedding blessings, civil partnerships, weddings on a budget, rustic weddings, urban weddings, vintage weddings…the list goes on!

Above all, we’re looking for unique, ‘out-of-the-box’ weddings that have been put together with thought and love. We want our readers to sit up and think, “Wow, I’m inspired”, both by the story itself and also the photography, which should be spectacular and timeless.

Couples

We love hearing from real couples about the most important day of their lives. We want to know all about your love story: how did you meet? How did you get engaged? What are the special touches you added to your wedding to make it uniquely ‘you two’? It’s that unique element – that certain je ne sais quoi – that we’re looking for that will make your story really stand out. And because we love originality, we do ask that your wedding should not have previously been featured on any other websites or blogs (although in print is OK), and that the content should be unique.

If you’re interested in having your wedding featured, please get in touch via the contact form or email our Editor, Natalie. She will then send you a short questionnaire for you to answer; please don’t be shy about going into detail! We will then require high-res colour imagery (a handful in black and white are fine too) without watermarks or borders. And it’s very important that you check with your wedding photographer first that you have permission to publish the images as Bouquet Catch can accept no responsibility for this (although in our experience wedding togs are lovely people and are happy for their work to be published with due credit). All the photography you provide should tell the story of your wedding day: from getting ready with your bridesmaids and ushers, to the ceremony itself, the drinks reception, wedding breakfast and of course, the evening party. Also, any close-up shots of the wedding dress, bridesmaids’ dresses, rings, centrepieces, cake, décor or any other special details or personal touches are always appreciated by our readers.

Photographers

Have you photographed some amazing, uniquely inspiring weddings? Of course you have, because you are an amazing UK wedding photographer! Please do get in touch and I will send you the questions to forward on to your couple. If you could number your non-watermarked shots in the order you would like them to appear within the post, that would be most helpful. And as mentioned above, we will always credit your imagery.

Engagement stories and shoots

Every so often, there’ll be a unique engagement story or engagement photoshoot that really grabs our attention. We’re always happy to feature these, with the same caveats as above – that images should be high-res, permission-granted and non-watermarked. Think stunning locations, amazing fashion and of course, a truly unique love story that the world needs to hear.

Suppliers

You might be a wedding supplier – planner, florist, videographer or venue – with access to a whole host of amazing wedding inspiration and couples who you think would be perfect for Bouquet Catch.
