Chelsea’s Enchanted Wedding Fair

Wedding fair enchantment in SW3

Today I popped along to Chelsea’s Enchanted Wedding Fair at the Chelsea Old Town Hall, which was rather fun. I was given free last-minute tickets by the PR team at Elite London Events which proved to be VERY last-minute i.e. yesterday afternoon, so gathering an entourage proved a little impossible.

Chelsea Town HallI was asked if I believe in ‘magic, miracles and happy endings’ and told that I deserved ‘a fairy tale of (my) own’:

Turning every maiden into a Disney Princess and transforming all the fair men into Prince Charming, Chelsea’s Enchanted Wedding Fair will be an event no bride or groom-to-be can afford to miss.

With Chelsea’s Enchanted Wedding Fair, we intend to double the charm. The event will truly turn the venue into an enchanted castle complete with the Enchanted Hall, the Corridor of Charms, and the Fairytale Room.

Was it ‘enchanted’? Not hugely. If there was a fairytale theme, I didn’t really see it. Just lots of lovely suppliers in a sensibly-sized venue, selling their wares.

Big shout out to the Freelancer Club, who styled my massive mane into this rather fetching bouffant half-up, half-down do in not very long at all!

Wedding HairstyleOther notable suppliers were Eye Imagine photography, who took the time to talk me through various package options for his unique and classic shots, Adam Keisner for his sleight of hand magic coin trick and the Whitehall String Quartet who sounded timeless, playing everything from the classic wedding march to Ed Sheeran.

I also have to mention Signature Booths, whose photo booth I tried and tested (a bit weird on my own but I had fun with it).

And just ‘cos, I decided to treat myself to a year’s worth of this hair removal ‘depilation’ kit from Melody Claire at half price…so that should keep my legs nice and smooth until my wedding then!

Melody ClaireOverall, a worthwhile morning spent signing up for lots of competitions and chatting to friendly suppliers.
